Students interested in auditioning for a role in our 2023 production of “Disney’s Descendants: The Musical” must sign up with Mr. Petrucci for an audition timeslot to be held during one of two days in the EGHS Auditorium: Tue Oct 3rd between 2:45-5:15pm OR Wed Oct 4th between 3:30-5:15pm. Audition packets are located outside room 134 or in the Avenger Theater Google classroom. Forms, conflict sheet, and signed contracts are due at the time of your audition.
Any student interested in performing onstage will have a part in the show. If you are interested in a smaller ensemble-only role, you do not need to audition – however, you must also complete the packet information and return a signed contract.
For larger/speaking roles, you will be asked to do a cold-reading from a scene in the show. In addition, you will need to select one of the following songs and be prepared to sing the first 1-2 minutes:
- “Evil Like Me” (mezzo-soprano)
- “If Only” (alto)
- “Did I Mention” (tenor)
- “Ways to be Wicked” (baritone/bass – Chad’s part only)
Roles will be double-cast. Call backs will be held on Thu Oct 5th from 2:45-3:30pm (if needed), and the cast list will be announced on Fri Oct 6th at 2:30pm in room 134.
