Students interested in auditioning for a role in our 2025 production of the new musical “Between the Lines” or participating in any of the Avenger Theater events this year (including Cabaret and Drama Festival) as well as tech crews should plan to attend the short student interest meeting afterschool on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
Auditions for the musical will be held on Monday, September 29th (with additional timeslots on Tuesday, September 30th). Rehearsals begin October 6th. *Sign up for an audition timeslot ASAP!
Contact Mr. Petrucci in room 134 if you are interested in joining Avenger Theater and you’ll be connected with our Google Classroom where you’ll find all the details about the music and auditions, as well as a copy of the audition packet.
*A note about auditioning for the musical: Any student interested in performing onstage will have a part in the show. If you are interested in a smaller ensemble-only role, you do not need to audition – however, you must still complete the information packet and return a signed contract.
For larger/speaking roles, you will be asked to do a cold-reading from a scene in the show. In addition, you will prepare 1-2 minutes of a song selection from the show (see below). Roles will be double-cast.
