BEST DAY EVER! We are excited to share our big news this month – Avenger Theater received 30 overall nominations for the 2025-26 Ocean State Star Awards program.
The Ocean State Star Awards program, sponsored by the Providence Performing Arts Center, is designed to celebrate, support, and advocate for high school musical theatre education throughout Rhode Island. The program celebrates high school musicals, students, and teachers by formally recognizing the extraordinary achievements of our state’s high school productions.
The cast and crew of “Between the Lines” were adjudicated during their performances in December, with nominations announced shortly thereafter. Winners in all categories will be decided and announced at the end of the school season in April, culminating with the final awards at the state-wide ceremony and showcase on the PPAC stage on May 3rd, 2026.
CONGRATULATIONS to the entire cast and crew of Avenger Theater on creating a fabulous show that wowed a weekend of eager audiences – as well as the adjudicators! Bravo!!!
