Announcing our 2026 Avenger Theater award winners

Awards for the 2025-2026 season were given out on March 13, 2026 during the annual Cabaret event. You can see a full list of all of our award winners in our archive.

NEW! Avenger Theater Scholarship – Ryan Finkelstein, Olachi Okere, & Caroline Daley

The Avenger Theater Scholarship is a $500 one-time scholarship awarded to selected senior program participants. These scholarships are generously supported by Raise the Bar of East Greenwich.

The Jim Metcalf Drama Award – Ella Finkelstein & Madison Hennessy

The Jim Metcalf Drama Award is given to a 4 year program participant who demonstrates outstanding achievement on stage in a variety of stage productions, including Cabaret, Talent Show and our annual Winter Musical.

Mike Hyde Tech Award – Anjani Deonarine, Olachi Okere, & Lily Pels

The Mike Hyde Tech Award is given to a 4 year program participant who demonstrates outstanding achievement in stage management, production, lighting, sound or backstage crew, in a variety of stage productions including Cabaret, Talent Shows and our annual Winter Musical. 

Avenger Spotlight Award – Alex Cambre, Caroline Daley, & Ryan Finkelstein

The Avenger Spotlight Award is given to a 4 year program participant who gives their all to each production and shows a tremendous amount of growth while in the program performing or on crew, in a variety of stage productions including Cabaret, Talent Show and our annual Winter Musical.

Avenger Theater Award – Aysha Facey & Charlie Gilliland

The Avenger Theater Award is given to a 4 year program participant for outstanding performance in our annual musical production.

Outstanding Achievement in Visual Design – Gillian Prisco
Outstanding Achievement in Visual Style – Mia Costantino

The Pit Orchestra Award – Zion Sun
