The 2025-26 Ocean State Star Awards winners have been announced! Congratulations to our entire cast and crew from the Rhode Island musical premiere of “Between the Lines” for putting on a show back in December that still has the audience raving about the Avenger Theater program!
A big round of applause for the students who are being recognized in the following categories:
- Rising star: Maddie Hennessy as Delilah McPhee
- Rising star: Michael Curley as Prince Oliver
- Outstanding Orchestra
- Outstanding Set Design
The Ocean State Star Awards program is part of an education initiative by the Providence Performing Arts Center which recognizes, honors, and encourages excellence in all aspects of musical theater performance and production among area high school students. Rising Stars have the opportunity to perform on the PPAC stage during the Ocean State Star Awards showcase and ceremony on Sunday, May 3. Along with the presentation of awards, there will be student musical performances from all over Rhode Island and additional awards and scholarships announced.
