1. What role do you have in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee?
I have the role of one of Leaf Coneybear’s siblings! I am also a part of the ensemble as well.
2. How many years have you participated in Avenger Theater?
This year is the second year I have participated in Avenger Theater. I would say I’m an amateur at singing compared to others but I still thoroughly enjoy theater.
3. What is your favorite Avenger Theater memory?
My favorite Avenger Theater memory is going to Denny’s last year after finishing the Spongebob Squarepants shows.
4. What would you tell an underclassman who was thinking about joining the program?
I would tell the underclassman to get out of their comfort zone and join the Avenger Theater! I am a timid person but theater has broken me out of my shell.
5. Have you been in other Avenger Theater shows, if yes, what ones and what role/s?
I started Avenger Theater last year and I was an ensemble member for Spongebob Squarepants. It was my first year so I didn’t audition but this year I faced my fear and auditioned.
6. If you have performed before – What was your first theater production and how old were you?
My first theater production was Mary Poppins at my old middle school in Chicago. However, I was a crew member and not a performer on the stage. I was 14 years old.
7. Of all the roles you’ve played, which is your favorite? If you could be in any show, which one would you choose, and what would be your “Dream Role”?
My favorite role was playing a Bikini Bottom citizen last year. I don’t have any experience with a lead role but I am grateful to be a part of Avenger theater. If I could be in any show I would want to be in the Mean Girls Broadway musical. My dream role would probably be Janis in Mean Girls because I love all of the songs she performs.
8. In our production of The 25th annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, what scene or song is your favorite part?
My favorite song is The I Love You Song because it shows Olive’s emotional side and her true feelings towards her mom being away from home.
9. What are your dreams/plans after graduation?
My plans after graduation are to go to college. I am not quite sure what I want to major in. A dream of mine is to find something I am truly passionate about.
10. What does Avenger Theater mean to you?
Avenger Theater has been a great experience overall, even though I have only participated in it for two years. I have met a lot of my good friends and I strongly recommend others to join in the future. If you are apprehensive about joining theater because you don’t have much experience I can guarantee you will have fun nevertheless
